Working with non-profits has been like discovering the ultimate happy dance for me. And when you throw in a non-profit that’s all about championing locally grown foods? Well, that’s the kind of work that feels more like a passion project than a job. It’s genuinely refreshing to see farms ditching the competition and teaming up for a revolution.
I began working with HHNI in 2019 and I’ve worn many hats! When the pandemic threw us all a curveball, I decided to spice things up a bit. I focused my efforts on creating a large recipe database, giving local foods the grand stage they deserve. Little did I know, this adventure wasn’t just about recipes; I learned some seriously cool database management tricks.
I’m currently contracted at HHNI as the Marketing & Digital Strategist. I keep the social media fires burning, the website accurate and active, and manage super fun marketing campaigns.
Here’s the last tasty tidbit – whether you’re a green-thumbed producer, a bona fide foodie, or part of an awesome organization, HHNI has a membership option for you!
